RESEARCH & EVALUATION

Our Research & Evaluation (R&E) department leads IWES’ program evaluation and continuous quality improvement. We work closely with internal program staff and external partners to document and collect measures for research, publication, and program/initiative refinement. Our R&E team has a long history of developing, coordinating, and conducting community-engaged, culturally responsive research and specializes in designing and conducting mixed-methods research and evaluation activities. We also have a growing collection of scholarly publications and presentations at national and international conferences on the range of issue areas IWES works within. In addition to providing direct support, the R&E department oversees our community-based Internal Review Board (IRB) that advises on the methodology, accuracy, and efficacy of our projects and their equity implications and practicality in community settings.
