Social Media Coordinator (PART-TIME)

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Social Media Coordinator who will be responsible for the implementation and curation of IWES’ social media presence. The Social Media Coordinator, in collaboration with program staff, will generate and distribute media content on all IWES channels. This person will be responsible for creating and posting content, collaborating with other programs and partners to create social media campaigns, and engaging IWES’ audience. Base Salary: $25/hr

Education Policy Fellow

IWES’ mental health division is hiring an Education Policy Fellow to research, analyze, and develop policies to improve youth mental health outcomes for IWES' reACTion program. reACTion works to promote Black youth mental health by addressing the ways in which social, political, and economic systems shape behaviors and access to resources for Black youth. It is designed to improve mental health outcomes for Black youth in New Orleans by assessing and communicating recommendations for implementing high-impact policies in schools, the juvenile legal system, and social services settings through collaborations with local community leaders. The Fellow should have a strong background in education policy and a passion for and commitment to promoting mental health and well-being among youth. Base Salary: $25/hr
